The “Dortmund Live.Tour” aims to promote live music in Dortmund and support local bands as well as musicians through increased visibility and performance opportunities.

The Dortmund Live.Tour includes a total of four concerts held at various venues across the city of Dortmund. In three preliminary rounds, four solo artists or bands will perform in front of an audience. For each round, one band or solo artist will be selected for the final concert through a vote, which consists of audience votes and a jury evaluation.

September 10, 2024 at 7:30 PM at FZW
Featuring: Bärte mit Mädchen, Das große Los, Die Exports, Lean + Special Guest: Bad Tomato (Pt)

September 25, 2024 at 7:30 PM at Junkyard
Featuring: Sam Todejo, My Demon’s Best Friend, Why The Face ???, Coven Call

Admission is free.

### Jury and Evaluation:
A professional jury, consisting of representatives from the Cultural Office, the Advisory Board for Popular Music/Pop Culture, the independent event scene, and music journalism, selects the participants for the preliminary rounds and decides on the qualifications for the final round. In addition to musical quality and live performance, criteria such as support for emerging talent, diversity, and inclusion will also be considered. Audience voting will also be part of the decision on who will perform in the final round.

### The finalists can win one of the following prizes:
– A studio production in a Dortmund recording studio worth €2,500
– A prize of €700
– A performance at the annual Juicy Beats Festival
